EDUCATION
Maria Dombrowski M.A. CCC-SLP is the owner of Amplified Speech, LLC. She is a speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of experience with pediatric and adult clients. Maria is from Central PA but spent 5 years, early in her career, in Charlottesville, VA before relocating to State College, PA. Maria’s clinical experiences include working with individuals of all ages in school-based settings, long-term care facilities, acute and subacute hospital settings, home health, and via telepractice. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Penn State University and earned her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Edinboro University.
EXPERIENCE
Maria has evaluated and treated children ages 18 months-18 years with expressive and receptive language impairments, articulation and speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), pragmatic impairments, and social language delay. Maria provides parent and caregiver coaching during her pediatric sessions.

Maria has evaluated and treated adults with aphasia, acquired apraxia of speech, dysarthria, CVA, mild cognitive impairment, dementia, TBI, dysphagia, voice disorders, Parkinson’s Disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders. She holds specialty certification in SPEAK OUT! and co-founded the first LOUD CROWD in State College, PA alongside The Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic at Penn State University.

Maria is licensed in PA, VA, and NC and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She also holds specialty certification for Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT-LOUD) and is a trained provider for Interactive Metronome. Maria specializes in individualized, client-centered care in the comfort of your home through telepractice.
